Pure Dermatology is now offering virtual visits as an alternative to in office visits. While we continue to offer in office visits, you can also choose from the two options below.

Option 1: Telehealth (Live Video Visit)

  • Audio and visual appointment with your physician
  • Requires a scheduled appointment for your video visit
  • Can be conducted via your smartphone or computer
  • Can be billed to your insurance*
  1. Please call our office, 303-333-7873 to schedule your telemedicine virtual appointment or to convert your existing office visit to a telehealth visit.
  2. Once your appointment is scheduled you will receive two emails with a links to:
    • Patient Portal access
    • download the PocketPatient app how to download and install or instructions on how to login via your patient portal on your computer.
  3. Prior to appointment: Login to Patient Portal and complete or update patient information including past medical history, medications and pharmacy information, etc.
  4. 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time, look for email with link to ‘Join Visit’ once physician has initiated time please login to your app or patient portal and find a quiet location with good lighting.
  5. Your appointment will be initiated by your physician. You will receive an email with a message indicating your physician is ready for your appointment.
  6. If using patient portal via your computer:
    • Once you have received email, go to your patient portal, puredermdenver.ema.md, login and select “join video visit”. Note: The video chat provided is valid for 10 minutes from the time the video chat is launched.
  7. If using the PocketPatient app:
    • Once you have received email or push notification, open app and select “join video visit”. Note: The video chat provided to you is valid for 10 minutes from the time the video chat is launched.

*Copays will be collected at time of scheduling the appointment. In the event that your insurance does not cover telehealth services, you will be charged our discounted self pay fee of approximately $100.

Option 2: E Visit (Store and Forward)

  • Written and photo correspondence with your physician via PocketPatient app (no audiovisual interaction)
  • Does not require a scheduled visit can be send at anytime and will be responded to within 24 hours
  • Cash pay $60 charge
  1. Call the office to activate the Telehealth and pay your $60.00
  2. Download the PocketPatient app on your phone
  3. Allow push notifications from the PocketPatient app
  4. Enter the Practice URL puredermdenver.ema.md
  5. Add the Username that you use for your portal access
  6. Add the Password that you also use for your portal as well
  7. Click on appointments and then the E-Visit tab
  8. Add your visit concern, including photos, and send
  9. A push notification will be sent to you letting you know a response has been sent from your physician
